This Financial Services Guide (FSG) is designed to help you decide whether to use the financial services we offer. It contains information about Global Markets Analysis Pty Ltd, the services we provide, how we and our associates are remunerated, and how complaints are handled.

Financial Services We Provide

As a corporate authorised representative, we are authorized to provide the following financial services:

  • Provide financial product advice on foreign exchange contracts and derivatives
  • Deal in foreign exchange contracts and derivatives
  • Provide general advice through market commentary and analysis
  • Provide personal advice through consulting engagements (where appropriate)

We provide services to both retail and wholesale clients.

General Advice vs Personal Advice

General Advice

Our daily market commentary and analysis constitutes general advice. It has not been prepared taking into account your objectives, financial situation, or needs. You should consider the appropriateness of this advice before acting on it.

Personal Advice

Where we provide personal advice through consulting engagements, we will conduct appropriate needs analysis and provide you with a Statement of Advice (SOA) outlining our recommendations and the basis for them.

How We Are Remunerated

We receive remuneration through:

  • Consulting Fees: Professional fees for advisory services, disclosed and agreed in writing
  • Introducer Commissions: Commissions from brokers when we introduce clients (disclosed separately)

Detailed information about remuneration for specific services will be provided in your SOA (for personal advice) or disclosed before any introduction is made (for broker referrals).

Associations and Relationships

We maintain referral relationships with select FX and CFD brokers. These relationships and associated remuneration are disclosed in our Conflicts of Interest & Compensation Disclosure page.

Professional Indemnity Insurance

We maintain professional indemnity insurance that covers us and our representatives for claims arising from the financial services we provide, including claims relating to the conduct of representatives who no longer work for us (for work done while engaged by us).
